Obasanjo sues journalist for N1bn over Bola Ige assassination claim
Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has sued an online writer and radio moderator, Mr Akanda Oro, famously known as Awikonko, for N1bn.
Obasanjo depicted as false cases by the columnist that he contributed to the death of the late Attorney General of the Federation, Chief Bola Ige (SAN), and the killed National Vice-Chairman of the old All Nigeria Peoples Party, Marshall Harry.
The columnist was cited as saying on live radio that Obasanjo murdered Ige and that President Muhammadu Buhari had even asserted at the internment of the late Harry that the Obasanjo-driven government supported the executing of the ANPP chieftain.
